We value all children as<br>individuals<br>and celebrate Britain’s diversity<br>of culture of ethnicity. We help<br>the children in our care to be<br>happy and healthy. We have<br>policies and procedures in place<br>for all aspects of safeguarding,<br>child protection and health and<br>safety, and we use staff training<br>days and meetings to ensure all<br>staff are competent in these. ## **Financial Review**

Review of the charity’s  Para 1.21 At the end of the financial year<br>financial position at the  (31 August<br>end of the period 2022) we had a balance of<br>£57,057.47 in<br>our current account, reserve<br>account and cash in hand<br>Income increased dramatically by<br>£46,463.79 from 2021 – due to<br>increased numbers of children,<br>and new children following the<br>Covid lockdowns.<br>In line with the increased number<br>of<br>children, our outgoings over the<br>financial<br>year also increased by £32,412.15<br>This means we finished the<br>financial year<br>With a profit of £5,518.22 – which<br>helps offset some of the previous<br>year ( 2021) loss of £8,533.42<br>Statement explaining  Para 1.22 Our policy is to hold the<br>the policy for holding  equivalent of 2<br>reserves stating why  term’s funds as a reserve.
