**Objects:** THE OBJECTS OF THE ORCHESTRA SHALL BE TO PROMOTE, IMPROVE, DEVELOP AND MAINTAIN: (1) EDUCATION AND TRAINING IN ORCHESTRAL PERFORMANCE (2) PUBLIC EDUCATION IN, AND APPRECIATION OF THE ART AND SCIENCE OF MUSIC IN ALL ITS ASPECTS (AND IN PARTICULAR ORCHESTRAL MUSIC) BY PRESENTATION OF PUBLIC CONCERTS AND RECITALS AND IN SUCH OTHER WAYS AS THE ORCHESTRA SHALL DETERMINE FROM TIME TO TIME.

**Activities:** Kingston Philharmonia is an amateur orchestra which normally performs three concerts a year, including a wide variety of music. It brings classical music into the heart of the community; gives local musicians the opportunity to rehearse and perform a broad classical repertoire; and provides an accessible and affordable alternative to the big London concert venues for local people.
