|Summary<br>ofthe main<br>achievements<br>ofthe charity<br>during the year||||Although<br>fund raising events were seriously curtailed,<br>because of<br>previous<br>careful stewardship<br>offinances the trustees were able to.make<br>grants and donations<br>during the year amounting<br>tof30,034(2020<br>f37,417)ofwhich f16,092 (2020f23,175)was to organisations,<br>with the|
|||||remainder<br>for the benefit of individuals.<br>Expenditure<br>through<br>Project|
|||||Wenceslas to help local people<br>in fuel poverty was in excess off8,000.|
|||||Some 99%ofthe overall charitable<br>expenditure<br>was for the benefit of|
|||||local organisations<br>and individuals.|
|||||As mentioned<br>earlier,<br>it has been a difficult year.<br>Being unable to hold|
|||||most ofour usual previous<br>fundraising<br>events, the trustees<br>have utilised|
|||||reserves to provide much-needed<br>assistance to local individuals<br>and|
|||||worthy causes. The trustees<br>however remain confident that the charity|
|||||remains<br>a going concern as reserves are not exhausted<br>and we hope to|
|||||be able soon to resume<br>normal<br>fundraising<br>activities.|
