WHITE HORSE STABLES – HORSE RESCUE

INDEPENDENT EXAMINERS’ REPORT

TO THE TRUSTEES OF WHITE HORSE STABLES HORSE RESCUE

I report on the accounts of the Charity for the year ending 30[th] June 2024 which are set out on the Accounts as submitted.

Respective responsibilities of Trustees and Examiner

The Charity’s Trustees are responsible for the preparation of the accounts. The Charity’s trustees consider that an audit is not required for this year under section 43(2) of the Charities Act 1993 (the 1993 Act) and that an Independent Examination is needed.

It is my responsibility to:

(ii) to follow procedures laid down in the general directions given by the Charity Commission under section 43(7)(b) of the 1993 Act; and

Basis of Independent Examiner’s Report

My examination was carried out in accordance with the general Directions given by the Charity Commision. I have reviewed the accounting records kept by the Charity and a comparison of the accounts presented with those records. I have also considered any usual items in the accounts and have sought explanations from you as trustees concerning any such matters. In ascertaining these facts and procedures I do not express an audit opinion on the view given by the accounts.

Independent Examiner’s qualified statement

I am able to satisfy myself that adequate accounting records have been kept and am able to confirm balances shown in the balance sheet at 30[th] June 2024 via reviewing schedules and supporting documentation. Whilst I am aware that shared facilities and some costs are shared by the Charity and Ellenwhorne Equestrian Centre I am of the opinion that nothing has come to my attention that the apportionment is not reasonable and justified.

In connection with the above and my examination no other matters have come to my attention which would cause concern with the accounting procedures now in place.

Signed:Leah Hammond BHSAI 5 Warren Drive Battle TN33 0FW
