**Objects:** FOR THE RELIEF OF PERSONS WHO ARE VISUALLY IMPAIRED OR WHO ARE OTHERWISE DISABLED OR DISADVANTAGED BY THEIR SOCIAL AND ECONOMIC CIRCUMSTANCES BY PROVIDING AND ASSISTING IN THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES TO ENABLE SUCH PERSONS TO PARTICIPATE IN SAILING AND SAILING RELATED ACTIVITIES IN THE INTERESTS OF SOCIAL WELFARE AND WITH THE OBJECT OF IMPROVING THE CONDITIONS OF LIFE OF SUCH PERSONS.

**Activities:** Provision of regular opportunities for people with disabilities, and their carers, to take part in boating and other related activities. EAST is run entirely by volunteers, and operates from Suffolk Yacht Harbour at Levington, near Ipswich.
