Activities
Providing a multi-purpose community centre for activities which promote cohesion, well being and education and to meet the community's needs for a place to hold social events.
Objects: 1. To Promote The Benefit Of The Inhabitants Of Corbridge, Stoke-On-Trent (Hereinafter Called 'The Area Of Benefit'), Without Distinction Of Sex, Sexual Orientation, Ability Or Disability, Race Or Of Political, Religious Or Other Opinions By Associating Together The Said Inhabitants And The Local Authorities, Voluntary And Other Organisations In A Common Effort To Advance Education And To Provide Facilities In The Interests Of Social Welfare For Recreation And Other Leisure-Time Occupation With The Object Of Improving The Condition Of Life For The Said Inhabitants. In This Context The Area Of Benefit Shall Be Deemed To Be That Area Within Three Radial Miles Of The Community Centre.2. To Establish Or Secure The Establishment Of A Community Centre And To Maintain The Same, Whether Alone Or In Co-Operation With Any Local Authority Or Other Person Or Body In Furtherance Of These Objects.3. The Relief Of Poverty And Sickness And The Preservation And Protection Of Good Health Among The Inhabitants Of The Area Of Benefit.4. For Such Other Charitable Purposes For The General Benefit Of The Inhabitants In The Area Of Benefit As The Trustees From Time To Time Determine, Such Purposes And Developments As Would Always Follow From The Spirit Of Clauses 2 And 3 Above And With Due Regard To Available Resources And Subject To The Consent Of The Executive Committee.
