Statement from the Trustees
2022/23 is the second year post covid that has seen a full program of events. We have had two very successful fairs at Christmas and in June, with children enjoying all the activities on offer, particularly the fantastic Santa’s grotto which is always a firm favourite with the younger children.
The Summer fair was another triumph with a huge variety of external stalls and a wonderful series of performances from local clubs and groups that included Irish Dancing, Gymnastics, singing and much more. We very much look forward to building upon the success of this event for next year.
The headline event of the year was the long anticipated return of the Fairview Fireworks. A truly spectacular event with a mesmerising display enjoyed by almost the entire school and local community. Over 1500 tickets were sold and a profit of £3,400 generated.
These events take a tremendous amount of planning and organisation and would not be possible without the generosity and dedication of the Fairview PTFA members. In turn the PTFA relies on volunteers to get the larger events off the ground. We would like to extend our thanks to all PTFA members, volunteers and teaching staff for their generosity that helped make the last year such a success. Thank you all for your continued support.
