Due to the current economic state, membership has dwindled to such an extent that we had to cancel our annual Rotary Christmas Sleigh. To this end, it was decided that having a Rotary Club without our main fundraiser was not viable and despite trying to raise membership numbers, the club, as a whole and with heavy hearts, decided it was best to close. As a group, we allocated our remaining balance of our Trust Account to local charities and CICs close to all our hearts.
On behalf of the Trustees and members of The Rotary Club of Tamworth, | would like to thank all those who have enabled us to obtain the excellent results over the years that Rotary Club of Tamworth has been active.

INDEPENDENT EXAMINERS REPORT
TO THE TR E OF THE
ROTARY CLUB OF TAMWORTH TRUST FUND
| report on the accounts of the Trust for the year ended 30" June 2025, which are set out on the
pages 4, 5 and 6.
The Charity’s Trustees consider that an audit is not required for this year (under section 43(2) of
the Charities Act 1993 (The Act) and that an Independent Examination is required.
It is my responsibility to examine the accounts (under section 43 of the Act) and to follow the
procedures laid down in the General Directions given by the Charity Commission (under section
43(7)(b) of the Act) and to state whether particular matters have come to my attention.
Basis of Independent Examiners Statement
My examination was carried out in accordance with the General Directions given by the Charity
Commissioners. An examination includes a review of the accounting records kept by the Charity
and a comparison of the accounts presented with these records. It also includes consideration
of any unusual items or disclosures in the accounts and seeking any explanations from the
trustee concerning any such matters. The procedures undertaken do not provide all the
evidence that would be required in an audit, and consequently | do not express an audit opinion
on the accounts.
Independent Examiners Statement.
In the course of my examination, no matter has come to my attention
1. Which gives me reasonable cause to believe that, in any material respect, the Trustee
has not met the requirements to ensure that proper accounting records are kept (in
accordance with Section 41 of the Act) and accounts are prepared which agree with
accounting records and comply with the accounting requirements of the Act; or
2. To which, in my opinion, attention should be drawn in order to enable a proper
understanding of the accounts to be reached.
