CHAIRMAN’S ANNUAL REPORT 2023
Really there is not a great deal to mention other than we are ticking along quite nicely. This is the first time for a number of years that we have managed to hold our AGM in accordance with our constitution, therefore the report only covers effectively 10 months.
Football, cricket, netball, tennis & athletics are the main sports at the Club as we continue to be a multi-sport facility that the village can be proud. There were again successes in cricket, adult football and youth football, with the cricket and adult football winning county wide trophies.
We also have several clubs who make use of the clubroom and provide a different type of creative activity.
We really appreciate the local companies who have continued to sponsor our Club by buying kit and equipment and through the pitch-side advertising system.
As we near the end of the payments on the Clubroom loan, we continue to pursue the project to convert the hardcourt to a 3G facility.
In closing, I would like to take the opportunity to again thank the trustees, coaches and volunteers who all contribute to make Chilcompton Sports an excellent Club.
