Activities

Dapcu Trust operated for many years in supporting evangelical christians and organisations working at home and overseas. The development of Gift Aid and other fiscal incentives, has meant that it is easier and more flexible for people to give direct, so the trustees have decide dto wind up the Trust. This will be completed by 5th April 2009

Objects: (1) The Promotion Of The Christian Religion And As Ancillary Thereto The Furtherance Of Education And Relief Of Poverty And Sickness But So That No Support Shall Be Afforded To Any Object Which Is Merely Benevolent And Not Charitable. (11) In Particular To Support The Work Of The Overseas Missionary Fellowship Previously Known As The China Inland Mission And The Work Of The South American Missionary Society Wherever Such Work May Be Carried On Both At Home And Abroad By Payments To Such Societies Or Either Of Them For Their General Purposes Or Any Special Purposes Or For Ther Help And Support Of Any Particualr Missioners Of Such Societies Or Eiither Of Them. (111) In Or Towards The Assistance Maintenance And Support Of Any Person Or Persons (Including The Family Of Any Such Engaged In Full Time Christian Work Who Shall Be In Need By Reason Of Poverty Or Sickness. (1V) Enabling Or Assisting Persons By The Provision Of Bursaries Or Grants To Obtain Full Time Instruction And Training For The Purpose Of Equipping Themselves To Spread The Gospel Of Jesus Christ By Taking Up A Vocation To Full Time Christian Service As Missionaries Medical Missionaries Welfare Workers Ministers Preachers Pastors Teachers Or Educationalists. (V) Supporting Societies Persons Engaged In Full Time Missionary Or Other Christian Work In Any Country Of The World. (V1) In Or Towards The Furtherance Or Support Of Any Missionary Society Or Religious Body Or Associaiton Or Any Individual Coming Within The General Objects Of This Deed Nominated By Any Subscriber Or Donor To The Dapcu Trust To The Extent Of Such Subscriber Or Donors Contribution. (V11) In Paying Expenses Incurred In Or About Carrying Out The Trusts Of This Deed.
