The charity is actively involved In the local community with ils building being a base for this service.
Below are some of our normal activities but they had to be modified because of COVID-19. We use
zoom for prayer meetings and Small group meetings. We also recorded our messages and make them
available lo all online. Also counselling and training was done online and zoom. Some elderly people
were visited weekly..
Over 60s coffee moming on Fr¢days
Three calendared events per year for about 400 pupils and slaff of a thal primary school
Two Alpha Courses per year. each lasting 14 weeks for interested members of the community
A bi-weekly youth club on Sunday aftemoon which is open lo young people of prirnary and
secondary school age in the Irxal community
Support for some local churches in the immediate vicinity and beyond
Counselling
Free training courses on issues such as Christian Marriage. raising Christian children and how lo
study effectively {for secondary and post secondary students).
Helping some elderfy people in the community wrth their shopping and providing free meals from
lime to time.
In addition, the charty makes grants lo other charIt￿S. operating intemab"onally amongst the poor.
Financlal Review
The Iruslees report a surplus of £74,30912019.. £47,855) ft)r the year, much of which has been invested
in a building extension which will be used for public benefit and look forward to further achieving the
charitsble objectives during the forthcoming year. The trustees are particularly appreciative of the
ongoing generous giving of members during the year. in a difFi¢ult economic envifonment.

The church has a policy of mainiaining unrestricted reserves, other than as sel aside for the building
project, within the onge of a minimum of 3 months, to a maximum of 12 months tsf average expenditure.
here the reserves fall outside this range. then a strategy needs lo be formulated by the Trustees to
bring them back into line.
At the balance sheet date the chanty's unrestricted reserves fell within these limits. The Iruslees
continue to monitor the financial positbon carefulty and believe that the Charity is generating sufFicienl
fvnds lo meet ils liabilities as they fall due over the next 12 months.
The Trustees are satisfied with the financial posib.on of the Charity and confinm that they have adequate
assets available to fulfil their obligations.
Volunteers
The trustees acknowledge the work of a large number of unpaid volunteers who assist in the weekly
activities of the church and look forward to the conb"nuation of the charity's objectives during the
forthcoming year.

Charity law requires the Trustee5 to prepare financial statements for each fillancial year which give a
true and fair view of the chanty's financial activities dunng the year and of its financial position at the end
of the year. In preparing these financial statements, we, as Trustees, have selected suitable accounting
policies and applied them consistenuy, and judgements and esbmates Ihat have been made are
reasonable and Firudent. We are also responsible for keeping accounting records which disclose with
reasonable accuracy the financial position of the charity and which enable us lo ascertain the financial
position of the charity and lo ensure that the financial statenRnts comply with Chanty Law. We are also
responsible for the safeguarding of the assets of the Chanty and for taking reasonable steps for the
prevention and detection of fraud and other irregularib"es.
The Trustees confiTm that the accounts are prepared in accordance with applicable
accounting
standards and follow recommendations in the Statement of Recommended Pracb'ce". Accounting by
Charities FRS 102 and are in accordance with the Charities Act 2011.

I report to the Trustees on my examinabon of the financial statements of King's Church, St Paul's Cray
(the ehantyl for the year ended 31st December 2020.

As the charity trustees of the Trust. yOLt are responsible for the preparation of the accounts in
accordance with the requiremenls of the Charrties Act 2011 1.the Act.).
I report in respect of my examination of the Tnjsfs accounts carried out under sects'on 145 of the 2011
