**HEARTLINK ANNUAL REPORT TO 30th SEPTEMBER 2024**

The main work of the trust this year was in the following areas:

## **INDIA**

- Our schools continue to recover

- The goats are reproducing and are supporting many families.

- We continue to harvest and restock five Fish Farms annually.

- We have grown and harvested quantities of food this year which has helped so many poor families, widows and orphans.

Our faithful UK volunteers provided support for a number of projects including three Orphanages, eight Schools for the needy, Churches and Clinics caring for the poor, sharing the good news and training workers for effective work in different areas.

We have provided among other things Food, clothing, Education, fish and medical treatment.

We have started more clinics and trained more village Health Workers as part of a growing village health programme, now serving hundreds of villages. This is serving an increasing number of villages in the poorest areas.

Heartlink's financial support to India was halted during 2023/24 as the FRCA permission to send money to India was awaiting reapproval and therefore prevented us transferring funds to our projects. We are hoping and praying this situation changes soon.

## **ALBANIA**

- It has been encouraging to see the work continue to grow.

- Les continued to encourage and support workers in the country in prayer and contact.

## **BULGARIA**

- Teaching and training are helping support this outreach and care work.

## **PROMOTION.**

- Les has taken church meetings and networked with our partners to support the growing work abroad.

- Four newsletters were prepared and circulated by a small team of volunteers to keep people and churches informed, challenged and involved in the promotion of the Christian gospel, training and helping the needy.

- The trustees met frequently for prayer with supporters & held trustees business meetings.
