Objects: To Promote The Benefit Of The Members Of The Organisations Within The Area Bounded By Blackfriars Road, Borough Road, Borough High Street, Union Street, Sawyer Street, Pocock Street, Without Distinction Of Sex Or Political Religious Or Other Opinions By Associating The Local Authorities, Voluntary Organisationa And Inhabitants In A Common Effort To Advance Education And To Provide Full Time Facilities In The Interests Of Social Welfare For Recreation And Leisure Time Occupation With The Object Of Improving The Conditions Of Life Of The Said Inhabitants. (B) To Establish And Secure The Establishment Of A Community Centre And To Maintain And Manage, Or To Co-Operate With Any Local Statutory Authority In The Maintenanc Eof And Management Of Such A Community Cemtre For Activities Promoted By The Centre And Its Constitutent Bodies In Furtherance Of The Above Objects.
