CHAIRMAN’S REPORT

As usual we had a busy year, it never seems to improve, with more than 100 kittens coming into our care over the spring & summer period, plus of course adult cats. With a population in parts of our area that seem to migrate at regular intervals, cats often get left behind, adding to our numbers. We have a small team of dedicated volunteers who give up their time daily from, caring, transporting, trapping, feeding a feral population of cats, as well as running our Facebook & twitter pages, paying invoices, collecting cat food donations from local shops & many other tasks that no one person could do, so teamwork is essential. Also, we have a dedicated couple who have helped with fundraising for many years doing tabletop sales at fetes. We are hoping that now cats are legally required to be microchipped by the age of 20 weeks we will be able to reunite more old cats with their owners. I would like to thank the whole team for all their Stirling work, without each individual we could not operate.

Pat Geddes Chair

HONORARY SECRETARY’S REPORT

This role is currently being shared by the existing trustees and volunteers until a permanent secretary can be found.

TREASURER’S REPORT

I would like to thank the Committee and all our supporters and volunteers who have helped us raise money, and donations of food and supplies during the past year.

Costs continue to increase, along with the number of cats needing our help but we have again been lucky to receive several legacies allowing us to run this year without incurring a financial loss.

I would like to thank all our supporters for their generosity and continued support.
