Summary of the objects of the charity set out in its governing document

The aim of CSLSC is to save life by prevention or rescue from a beach environment, promote water safety, develop beach lifesaving methods, comply with SLSGB patrol, uniform, and regulations. CSLSC works closely with other association connected with our aims and operates at Croyde Beach.

We train adults and children in surf lifesaving skills plus first aid procedures.

We train lifeguard to nationally recognised standards.

We take part in life saving sport competitions.

We apply for grants wherever possible to assist our aims.

Our cash investments are for long-term projects. eg training and equipment and a proposed permanent club premises.

CSLSC is a volunteer led club with members giving freely of their time and experience.
