**Objects:** THE TRUSTEES SHALL DIVIDE THE INCOME OF THE CHARITY INTO TWO EQUAL PARTS TO BE APPLIED AS FOLLOWS:(1) RELIEF IN NEED (A) THE TRUSTEES SHALL APPLY THE INCOME OF THE CHARITY IN RELIEVING EITHER GENERALLY OR INDIVIDUALLY PERSONS RESIDENT IN THE AREA OF BENEFIT WHO ARE IN CONDITIONS OF NEED, HARDSHIP OR DISTRESS BY MAKING GRANTS OF MONEY OF PROVIDING OR PAYING FOR ITEMS, SERVICES OR FACILITIES CALCULATED TO REDUCE THE NEED, HARDSHIP OR DISTRESS OF SUCH PERSONS (FOR FURTHER DETAILS SEE SCHEME)(2) RELIEF IN SICKNESS (A) THE OVERTON TRUSTEES SHALL APPLY THE INCOME OF THE CHARITY FOR THE PURPOSE OF RELIEVING IN CASES OF NEED PERSONS RESIDENT IN THE AREA OF BENEFIT WHO ARE SICK, CONVALESCENT, DISABLED, HANDICAPPED OR INFIRM BY PROVIDING OR PAYING FOR ITEMS, SERVICES OR FACILITIES WHICH ARE CALCULATED TO ALLEVIATE THE SUFFERING OR ASSIST THE RECOVERY OF SUCH PERSONS IN SUCH CASES BUT ARE NOT READILY AVAILABLE TO THEM FROM OTHER SOURCES (FOR FURTHER DETAILS SEE SCHEME)

**Activities:** The Overton Trustees shall apply the income of the Charity for the  purpose of relieving in cases of need persons resident in the Parish of Overton who are elderly, sick, convalescent, disabled, handicapped or infirm by providing or paying for items , services or facilities which are calculated to alleviate thev suffering or assist the recovery of such persons.
