To engage with Luton's Voluntary and Community Sector, to assist in building its capacity, enabling the sector to provide better services to the community through - Advice & Support, Development, Representation, Liaison and Strategic Partnership and brokering volunteering opportunities.
Objects: The Objects For Which The Association Is Establish Are To Promote General Charitable Purposes For The Benefit Of The Community Of Luton And The Surrounding Area Providing Opportunities For Those Residents To Participate Fully In The Life Of Their Community I Ways Which Address And Alleviate Social And Economic Disadvantage. In Particular To Advance Education Of The Public Through Training And Advice To Empower The General Public To Provide Voluntary And Community Services For The Wider Community And To Relieve Financial Hardship And Sickness By The Provision Of Financial Assistance And The Provision Of Workspace On Favourable Terms To Alleviate Social And Economic Disadvantage.
