The Trustees have had due reEard to guidance published by the Charity Commission on public
benefit when carrying out the attivities of the charity during the year.

The Role of the Parents. Assoclatlon
The Parents Association aims to raise funds to enhance the facilities for current and future Students.
It principally exists to support the school by holding events which help to foster parental
involvement ond raise funds for much needed additional items for the benefit of the pupils. At the
same time, it enables parents to socialise through the school event5 that it organi5es throughout the
vear.
Successful activities the PA have chosen to organize:
Meet and greet evening5 for Nursery and reception parents.
Bingo nights-
Dlscos.
Funds raised by PA Events {for 2022-23 academic year)
Theatre trips- Over E2.CrfXJ raised over 4 shows.
Summer Fayre- The event raised more than £5,1(Kl.
Christmas Fayre- A big success every year. The event raised more than £4.6￿.

ReseT¥e5 Policy
The Parents Association has no long temi commitments and therefore requires Ilmited reserves.
Reserve5 are held to fund the expenditure for upcomin8 events
The PA run5 down tts bank each terni with a donation to The Breakspear School. This year V￿ have
donated £15,(XJO to improve the frdcilities around the school. We have also funded the Y6 leavers
activities and a science day for all children to enjoy. for a detailed breakdown please refer to notes
2&4.
Reserves at the yearond totalled £4.283.03.
