Aims and Objertives
CaIvary Believers International Ministries was c￿ted to advance the Christian religion
for the benefit of the public. This is achieved through evangelism, fellowship, baptizing,
community activities and teaching the word of God from the bibl

trustees continualty assess the potential rksk to the ckkarity. This process is
managed through continuous monitoring ofthe church membership. attendance

Future Plans
We intend to take a close look at foreign missions particularly in Ghana and also
the p055ibility of establishing another branch here in UK We intend to support
more members ofour community who are faced with hardship.
JSA & Assodates were appointed as the accountants (Independent
Examiners] and they have expressed their willingness to art in that capacity.
TRusfEES RESPONSIBILITIES
The trustees are responsli )le for preparing the Trustees. Annual Report and the Financial
Ststements in accoTdance with applÉcable law and United Kingdom Accounting
Standards (United Kingdom Generally Accepted AccouDting Practice).
The Charity Art 2011 requires the trustees to prepare financial statements for each
financial year, which give a true and fair view ofthe charitys finaT]cial activities during
the year and of its finanaal position at the end of the year. In preparing these financial
statements, the trustees are required to:

Observe the methods and princfiples in the Charities SORP.
Make judgments and estimates that are reasonable and prudenL

reasonable accurdcy at any time the finanaal position of the charity and enable them to
ensure that the financial statements comply with the Charities Act 2011 and the Charity
(Accounts and Reports) Re￿￿atiOnS 2008. They are also responsible for safeguarding
the assets of the charity and hence for tsking reasonable steps forthe prevention and

I report on the accounts of the Charity for the year ended 31 March 2023. which are set

The trustees ofthe charity are responsible for the preparation of accounts: they consider
that an audit required under section 144 (2) of the Charlties Art 2011(the 2011 Art]. and
that an independent examination is needed.
It is my Tesponsibility to:
- Examine the accounts under section 145 ofthe Charities Act
- Follow the procedures laid dovm in the Genernl Dirertions given by the Charity
Commission under section 145[5](b) of the Charities Act 2011. and
- State whether particular matters have come to my attentio

My exarninatlon was carried out In accordance with the General Direction given bythe
Charity Commission. An examination includes a review of the accounting records kept by
the charity and a comparison ofthe accounts presented with those record5. It also
includes consideration of any unusuaI items or disdosures in the accounts, and seeking
explanations from the trustees concerning any such matters.
The procedures undertaking do not provide all the evidence that would be required in an
audit, and as a result I do not express an audit opinion as to whether the accounts
present a-trne and fairf view and the report is li￿lted to those nutters set out in the
statement below.

Basis of preparatlon ofAccounts
The financial statements have been prepared under the historical cost
convention. The accounts have been prepared ID accordance with applicable
accounting stsndards. Charities SORP 2005 (Accounting and Reporting by
Charities) and comply with the Charities (Accounts and Reports} Regu]2tions
2005 and the Charities Art 2011.
1.1 Incomlng ReSoUr￿S
Voluntary incomes are received by way of donations and are recognised as
incoming resources when recelvable. except ID so far as they are incapable of
financial measuremeDL These are included in the Ststement of Financial
Artivities (SOFA) when..
- the charity becomes entitled to the resources," and
- the monetary value can be measured with sufficieDt reliability.
Where incoming resources have related expendithre (as with fvndrnising or
contract income) the incorning resources and related expenditure are reported
gross in the SOFA at the same tirne as the gift to which they relate.

Resources expended are induded In the Ststement of Financial Activities on
an accru￿ basis as a liability is incurred. Certain costs have been apportioned
between Cost ofArtivities in Furtherdnce of Objectives and Governance cost
on the bases consistent with the use of those resources.
1.3 Tangible Fixed Assets and Depreciation
These are 12pitsli5ed if they can be used for than one year, and cost at least
£120. They are valued at cost or a reasonable value on recelpL
Tangible fixed assets are stated at cost less depreciation. Depreciation Is
provided at rates calculated to write off the cost less estimated residual value
of each asset over its expecred useful Iife on the following basis:

1.4 Value Added Tax
Value added tax is Trot recoverable by the charity, and as such is induded in
the relevant costs in the Statement of Financial activities.
1.5 Funds Accounting
Funds held by the charity are:
Unrestricted genera] fund -comprising fi]nds that can be used in accordance
with the charitable objects at the discretion of the trustees.
Restrirted funds - which were raised for partiwlar restricted purpose5 and
can only be used for those particular restricted purposes within the objects of
the charity.
1.6 Payments to Trustees/SeDlor Management
An amount of £4800 wa5 paid to the Minister- In- Charge who is also a trustee
member. It is an allowance towards his travel. telephone and other expenses
incurred in dischargtng his dutie& No other payments were made to any
other trustee member&
