Activities

CYA supports young people aged 5 - 18, by enabling them to take part in a range of extra curricular or out-of-school activities which are beyond their families' current means. These range from specialist sports training or music lessons to school trips and local holiday club schemes.

Objects: (1) To Educate Young People Between 5-18 Years Of Age In The Chessington, Hook And New Malden Areas Through Their Leisure Time Activities So As To Develop Their Physical, Mental And Spiritual Capacities That They May Grow To Full Maturity As Adults And Members Of Society And That Their Conditions Of Life May Be Improved. (11) The Preservation And Protection Of Health, The Releif Of Poverty And The Advancement Of Education And Training For Employment Amongst Young People Between 14-18 Years Of Age By The Provision Of An Advice And Information Service In Matters Relating To Health, Careers Guidance And Welfare Benefits. (111) In Furtheranc Eof The Above Object, The Group May Provide Activities And Projects For The Young People In Question, And May Involve Them In The Planning And Running Of Activities For The Benefit Of Members Of The Local Community.
