Annual Pastoral Report
The Pastoral Team is so thankful for the past year. The morning service was established on 13 August 2023 and has been experiencing growth in attendance and participation. The average attendance is 120-140 adults, 65-75 children and teenagers, and a total of more than 200 people. The number taking part has been stable over the past year, and we have already outgrown the Coniston Community Centre venue! If the number of participants continues to grow in the coming days, the church will need to find a larger morning service venue. Please continue to pray for this ministry.
We have also seen that in the past year, children’s Sunday school, youth Sunday worship, and youth Rooted ministry have also had stable attendance. However, the teachers and leaders are still very limited. There is now a need to invite more teachers and helpers, and to train, so that there will be enough teachers and helpers for the Children and Youth Ministry.
Another joyful experience is the increase of the university ministry across the board. Students who attend Living Water Fellowship and Canaan Fellowship have grown in number and continue to grow in maturity. They love Bible study and want to know more about God. May God bless them to continue to grow in their faith and God’s word. Timothy Fellowship has also outgrown their meeting capacity. Two fellowships were established in April; the Cornerstone Fellowship (serving the graduated and young adults) and the Eden Fellowship (serving the married couples). Timothy Fellowship continues to serve the adults. While the Mandarin Ministry fellowships have gone from strength to strength in terms of commitment to serve the Lord, and the overall increase in the knowledge of God.
The English Ministry will experience some changes, so please keep them in your prayers as they continue to focus to build up each other in the love of God. The parents of the Young Family Fellowship continue to develop authentic and intentional fellowship, raising children together, and there has been a renewed focus of involvement with the children, through scripture based activities.
The church has been established for 25 years since 2000. We are now actively preparing for various 25th anniversary activities and ministries. We pray that the Lord will guide and lead all activities and ministries and encourage brothers and sisters to actively participate. Together, we would like to express our gratitude.
The current term of the Executive Committee will end in April 2025. Please pray that God will raise up more brothers and sisters who are willing to serve in the Executive Committee. At the same time, we also express gratitude to the brothers and sisters in various fellowships, cell groups and serving teams in the church for their dedicated efforts and heart to serve in the church.

May God increase the committed brothers and sisters to serve the Lord with joy and gratitude. Finally, we need to keep praying for the following:

May the newly recruited pastors, and the forming of the pastoral team, bear more fruits in terms of teaching and ministering of the Gospel works.

May the church continue to excel in the second-generation Gospel, as well as preaching the Gospel to the young. May God send more teachers and helpers to the Children and Youth Ministry.

That BCCC can be more actively involved in the church outreach works.
-
That God will call more committed brothers and sisters to partner together in the Gospel and build the body of Christ together.

For God to provide suitable property for us to further the Gospel work.

For God to provide financially. When the church recruited new pastoral workers, this increased the financial burden of the church.

牧者們為過去一年獻上感恩，早堂崇拜開始於2023年8月13日，出席人數一直增長，平均出席成年 人人數為120-140人，小孩和青少年人數為65-75人，合共總200多人，過往一年參與崇拜人數步入 穩定期。早堂崇拜場地 Coniston Community Centre 在 2024年已經達到飽和，若參與人數在未來 的日子有持續增長，教會需要尋找一處更大的崇拜聚會場所，請為此繼續禱告。
我們也看到過去一年，兒童主日學，青少年主日崇拜，以及青少年的 Rooted 事工有穩定的出席人 數。但是，老師以及事奉的領袖人員還是不夠。教會現在需要邀請和培訓更多的老師和領袖，去 應付兒童以及青少年事工的龐大需要。另一個令人喜樂的經歷，就是教會的大學生事工的成長。 出席活水團契以及迦南團契的大學生們，不只在人數上有增長，在靈命上也可以看到他們更成熟 ，渴慕查經和認識主更多。求主讓他們繼續在信心及真理裏得到長進。提摩太團契在過去一年的 增長，已經超過聚會場所可以容納的人數，因此在四月分別成立了基石團契(服侍剛畢業及初職 的弟兄姊妹)及伊甸團契(服侍已婚的弟兄姊妹)。提摩太團契繼續委身服事職青。普通話事工的團 契則是經歷了整體的成長。可以說是在對神的委身，以及對神的認識方面更加經歷神。英語事工 即將迎來一個新的方向，將在愛裏彼此建造。英語的年輕夫婦團契開始跟兒童一起學習聖經，一 起思考真理。
教會今年已成立25年，現在繼續積極籌備各項25週年的活動和事工，求主保守各項活動和事工， 並鼓勵弟兄姊妹積極參與，齊心獻上我們的感恩。今屆執委會成員即將在四月份任期完結，求神 興起更多的弟兄姊妹願意參與新一屆執委會的服侍，我們需要為此代禱。同時，我們也為教會各 個事奉團契小組的弟兄姊妹願意盡心盡力事奉獻上感恩。求主讓更多的弟兄姊妹在2025年一起 投入服事，以喜樂感恩的心服事主。最後，我們需要繼續為教會禱告：

求主讓新加入的牧者同工們組成一個有效的牧者團隊，一起在教導和福音事工方面配搭， 一起多結果子。

禱告教會更有效地服事信二代。 求主差派更多的老師以及領袖服事兒童以及青少年事工。 3. 禱告教會可以更多的參與福音外展事工。

求主興起更多的弟兄姊妹，一起在福音事工上配搭，一起建立基督的身體。

我們的主供應一個合適的會址，讓教會有更多的福音拓展事工。 也求主感動更多的弟兄姊 妹不住的為這事禱告。

當教會的牧者團隊需要有更多牧者的時候，求主供應教會經費上龐大的需要，以應付因新 聘牧者而增加的經費。

The Church Is My Home
Looking back over the past year, in addition to hosting a variety of events, our brothers and sisters have faithfully served with the gifts God has given them. Whether in fellowships, Bible studies, worship and praise, visitation and pastoral care, children’s and youth ministries, Sunday service setup, sound and media, bulletins, refreshments, social media, or the church website, everyone has served with love. You have not only dedicated your time, talents, and financial resources, but more importantly, you have done so with a willing heart, covering the church in prayer. Praise the Lord!
We thank God for leading three new pastoral workers - Pastor Janice Lam, Pastor Lilian Chan, and Pastor Bee Yoong Lim - to join our pastoral team last year. They have wholeheartedly served God’s house, teaching and equipping believers while shepherding the Lord’s flock, allowing for greater collaboration within the pastoral team.
As the year comes to a close, Pastor Lilian has decided to step down from her pastoral duties with us, in response to God’s calling in her heart. She will continue seeking and fulfilling the vision and mission God has entrusted to her. Following her departure, Pastor Martin and Pastor Janice will take on the ministries she was overseeing to ensure that our brothers and sisters receive the pastoral care and teaching they need. Additionally, our retired yet still active Pastor Irene, along with seminarian Michael Chu, will assist in the Cantonese ministry.
There remains a strong need for pastoral care in our English and Mandarin ministries, as well as for greater investment in our youth and children’s ministries. At present, these ministries are being supported by Pastor Wai and Pastor Bee Yoong (who serves part-time).
The entire pastoral team is united in heart and purpose, supporting one another as we seek to build a stronger team under God’s guidance and fulfill the Great Commission entrusted to us. We deeply appreciate every pastor and staff member who has served with all their heart, soul, mind, and strength over the past year. May God watch over and protect them and their families, granting them physical, emotional, and spiritual health, and strengthening them with His power.
This year, the Executive Committee team consists of five deacons, with members from diverse backgrounds and rich experience in various roles within the church. Over the past few months, by God’s grace, we have gradually become close ministry partners, despite initially being unfamiliar with each other. Together, we have served with one heart, showing mutual understanding, respect, support, and prayer, and have grown together in our ministry. In the daily operations, administrative tasks, and decision-making processes of the church, we have fully embraced teamwork, experiencing God’s wonderful grace and blessings in our service.
BCCC has now been established for 25 years, having grown from a fellowship to a church of over 400 members, bearing witness to God’s guidance and grace. Looking back, through a journey filled with changes, challenges, and difficulties, we have together experienced God’s

abundant and wonderful grace. God has raised up a group of committed individuals who are willing to share in the mission of building the church, contributing greatly to its stable development in the years to come. We are also grateful to the CIO team and the Constitution Amendment Team for their support during the church’s legal transition and future development.
We have long desired to have our own property for fellowship and worship, especially to provide more space for our children, youth, and families to gather. With the church becoming a CIO, we will continue to collaborate with the property acquisition team. I encourage our brothers and sisters to pray together for the planning and the necessary funds for purchasing a church building. May the Lord, the giver of all things, prepare it for us and place it on the hearts of our congregation, so we can work together towards this goal.
Let us walk in unity, trusting that in God’s plan, according to His timing, He will prepare the right place for His church.
Let us explore together and discover the gifts of each member within God’s house, working in partnership. You and I are indispensable members of God’s family, and may we join together to participate in and witness God’s wonderful plan, expanding His kingdom!
We pray that the Lord would reign in the church, that the members may pray and watch over each other, show hospitality, build friendships, pursue the truth, support one another, and grow as true disciples of the Lord. May we establish a church that is both grounded in truth and overflowing with love, one that the Lord delights in. We humbly ask the Lord to bless us, “ to be renewed and transformed, becoming more Christ-like ”. May we be vessels for His use, good stewards of God’s manifold grace, and shining lights, illuminating the dark corners of the world, all to the glory of His holy name!
Finally, I would like to remind and encourage us all with the following passage of Scripture:
“If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you. This is to my Father’s glory, that you bear much fruit, showing yourselves to be my disciples.” (John 15:7-8)

教會是我家
回顧過去一年，教會除了舉行各種大大小小的活動外，弟兄姊妹也按著神所賜的恩賜，在小組團 契、查經、敬拜讚美、探訪關懷、兒童及青少年事工、主日崇拜場地預備、音響、場刊、茶點、社交 媒體與網站等各個崗位上，以愛心服侍。他們不僅奉獻時間、恩賜、才幹與金錢，更重要的是懷有 一顆樂意事奉的心，並以禱告為教會守望。讚美主！
感謝主，去年帶領三位新傳道同工——Janice 林秀霞傳道、Lilian 陳雅莉傳道以及 Bee Yoong Lim 傳道——相繼加入教牧團隊。她們全心全意服事神的家，教導並裝備信徒，牧養主的羊群，使 教牧團隊能夠彼此更美好地配搭。
一年過去，Lilian傳道因要回應神在她內心深處的感動，不得不放下在我們中間的牧養職務，繼續 尋求並回應神所託付給她的異象和使命。Lilian傳道離職後，Martin傳道與Janice傳道將會分擔她 原來所負責的事工，讓弟兄姊妹能夠得到所需的牧養與教導；還有我們退而不休的Irene牧師，以 及神學生 Michael Chu在廣東話事工上提供協助。
英語和普通話事工的牧養需求，以及青少年與兒童事工的關顧與建立，仍需要教會投入更多的關 注與資源。目前，由韋智杰傳道和半職的 Bee Yoong Lim 傳道在這三個事工中分擔牧養。
整個教牧團隊同心合意，彼此支持，在神的帶領下，建立更穩固的團隊，共同承擔主所託付的大 使命。我們衷心感謝每位牧者同工，在過去一年盡心、盡性、盡意、盡力的擺上。願神親自看顧保 守他們和他們的家人，並賜下健康的身心靈，在主裏得著能力。
今年的執委會團隊由五位執事組成，成員來自不同背景，並在教會各個崗位上擁有豐富的事奉經 驗。在過去幾個月中，靠著神的恩典，原本彼此不太熟悉的我們，逐漸成為緊密的事奉夥伴，同心 服侍、互相包容、彼此尊重、支持和代禱，在事奉中一同成長。在教會的日常運作、事務處理及決 策上，我們充分發揮團隊精神，並在事奉中深刻體驗神奇妙的恩典與祝福。
BCCC成立至今已25年，從團契發展至一間四百多人的教會，見證了神的帶領與恩典。回望過去， 在充滿轉變、困難和挑戰的旅程中，我們共同經歷了神奇妙又豐富的恩典。神更興起一群願意委 身的肢體，一同承擔建立教會的使命，為教會往後的穩步發展帶來極大的幫助。我們也感謝CIO 團隊及教會會章修訂團隊，在教會法律轉變及未來發展上的支持。
我們一直渴望擁有自己的物業作為團契和崇拜的場地，特別是為了我們的孩子、青少年及家庭， 我們都需要更多的空間聚會。隨著教會成為CIO，我們將繼續與教會物業搜購團隊合作。我鼓勵 弟兄姊妹一同為購堂的籌劃及所需的資金禱告，願厚賜百物、萬有的主親自為我們預備，並將感 動放在弟兄姊妹心中，使我們同心為教會購堂出一分力。
讓我們同心同行，相信在神的計劃裏，按祂的時間，祂必為祂的教會預備合適的地方。
讓我們一同探索，發掘每個人在神家中的恩賜，彼此配搭。你和我，都是神家中不可或缺的一分 子，願我們一起參與並見證神美好的計劃，拓展神的國度！
求主在教會中掌權，使眾肢體彼此禱告守望、互相款待、建立情誼，在真道上努力追求、互相扶持 同行，成為切實跟隨主的門徒，建立一間既有真理又有愛心、主所喜悅的教會。懇求恩主施恩，幫
