**Objects:** THE ADVANCEMENT OF EDUCATION LEARNING AND RESEARCH IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE PRINCIPLES OF THE CHURCH OF ENGLAND AND WITHOUT PREJUDICE TO THE GENERALITY OF THE FOREGOING IT SHALL BE THE PRIMARY PURPOSE OF THE COMPANY TO PROMOTE THE INTERESTS AND FURTHER THE WORK IN TEACHING AND RESEARCH OF CHRIST CHURCH COLLEGE FOUNDATION , CANTERBURY SO LONG AS THE COLLEGE OF THAT FOUNDATION SHALL CONTINUE TO BE RECOGNISED BY THE GENERAL SYNOD OF THE CHURCH OF ENGLAND AS A COLLEGE OF THE CHURCH OF ENGLAND ORDERING ITS WORSHIP AND ITS COMMON LIFE IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE DOCTRINE AND DISCIPLINE OF THE CHURCH OF ENGLAND.

**Activities:** The advancement of education, learning and research in accordance with the principles of the Church of England and without prejudice to the generality of the foregoing it shall be the primary purpose of the Charity to promote the interests and further the work in teaching and research of Canterbury Christ Church University.
