**Objects:** TO PROMOTE THE SOUND DEVELOPMENT AND ADMINISTRATION OF THE LAW FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC IN THE FOLLOWING WAYS: (A) BY PROMOTING EDUCATION AND CONDUCTING RESEARCH INTO THE LAW, INCLUDING CURRENT AND PROPOSED PRACTICE AND ADMINISTRATION OF THE LAW, AS THE EXECUTIVE BOARD THINKS FIT, AND BY PUBLISHING THE USEFUL RESULTS OF SUCH RESEARCH; (B) BY PROVIDING SPECIALIST LEGAL ADVICE IN RELATION TO THE LAW AND LEGAL PROCEDURES PARTICULARLY IN CASES WHERE IT IS APPREHENDED THAT A MISCARRIAGE OF JUSTICE HAS TAKEN PLACE; (C) BY PROVIDING LEGAL REPRESENTATION FOR THOSE WHO ARE UNABLE TO OBTAIN LEGAL REPRESENTATION FROM THEIR OWN RESOURCES, PARTICULARLY IN CASES WHERE IT IS APPREHENDED THAT A MISCARRIAGE OF JUSTICE HAS TAKEN PLACE; SUCH OTHER PURPOSES FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE COMMUNITY AS SHALL BE EXCLUSIVELY CHARITABLE.
