Firstly, thank you to the hard-working volunteer members of the committee. the team of"event vc4unteers°, the

the Swarfand Show and on behaif of the Commillee, I wouhj like to exp￿$$ our thanks for the wntinued support
from both. In addition there have been donatrons from individuals within the communty of £552 towafds the
ndows cost.
Hall hire has continued to grow and this year it has In￿eased from £7,546 in ￿ preV￿u$ financ￿1 year to
£9,153. All but £708 is attributed to our 15 wular user grtyJps with &Xrvtties induding exercise groups. crafts,
music, dance and fOre￿n language. a real var* and something ts everyone.
Fund raising and events continu&J at a pace in our efforts to raise funds towards the cost of window repl8￿ment
but also to ensure that The Hall remains a big part of the communty. Events have induded Winefest, quiz
nights, concerts from the Ccquet Concert Band and Swartand VoTrces. VE Day aftemTh)n tea, jazz evening and
the ever-popular coiyee momings. Acouple of new events, the auctK)n and disco, have also contributed. The Hall
now also provides a licenced bar (where approprTratel and thank you to Peter and Sue Short who run Ihis and
donate profrts to The Hall. All of this activty has increased {gross) fijnd raising from £3,287 in 2025 to £9,426
this year, a fantastic achievement. This is before the 200 Club income which amounted to just under £2,200. A
huge amount of effort has gone (and continues to gol into each of these activrties and a very Sin￿re thank you to
all who organised. promoted and participated in these events.
Ex
enditure
As noted last year. the W1ndcN￿ will need to be replawl in the short temi and Ihe team continues to plan for Ihis.
There will be fvrther fvnd-raising events to come throughoul the 2026127 financial y&8r to contribute towards this
cost although it is hoped that the majortty of the cost will be met through grants. The commillee has provisional
allocated a sum of just under £21 k {£8k in FYE March 20251 this year towards the cost of the windows and it is
hoped that this will increase again in the 26127 financial year as fund raising events ¢ontinue.
In April. after several years of no revaluation, the trustees thought it prudent to review the level of insur8r￿e
cover. Following a professional appraisal il was necessary to signfficantty increase the buildings re-instatement
cover. This resutted in an increase in insurance costs with just under £4k paid out in this financial year. that said
£600 relates to the kYeviou$ year with the annual premium being just under £3.4001£2.550 in FYE March 20251.
Overall, expenditure is V￿11 controlled arKI income is covering the nonnal day to day running cost.
In ¢on¢lusion, the chartty remains financialty sound and has wot*ing cash Teserves of just over £28k (excludes
the 200 Club) wh￿h is up from £16k18St year.
A huge thank you again to all who have SuPFX￿ed the charity thi$ year.
