and support to all scout groups within the|| ||||District.|| ||||The District Trustees acknowledge
and appreciate the|| ||||contribution
made by all volunteers
ofthe Scouting Movement|| ||||within South Ribble as without their efforts the district could not|| ||||function.|| ||SRDSC policy on reserves isto hold suffident resources to| |---|---| ||continue the charitable
activities ofthe Scout District should| ||income and fundraising
activities tall short.
The District| ||Executive Committee
considers that the Scout District should| ||also hold a sum enabling
timely payment
of headquarters| ||membership
fees and fulfilment
of tiabMities to third parties in the| ||event ofScout Group Closures
within the District jurisdidion.| ||Addwonal
reserves are also held to support
development
ofthe| ||District across s range ofareas such as International
Travel,| ||equipment
