## **Trustees’ Report**

## **Principal purpose of the Trust**

The principal purpose of the St Just Charitable Trust (SJCT) is to support the Parish in any activity that the Trustees deem meet the terms of the Trust which are “the Managing Trustees, subject to the payment of expenses, shall apply the income of the Charity in furthering the religious, educational and other charitable work of the Church of England in the said Parish”.

## **Trustees and management of the Trust**

The trustees are also trustees of the St Just and St Mawes Parochial Church Council.

The trustees meet regularly to consider what can be done to support the community.

During 2020 the Covid19 pandemic resulted in a fundraising drive, with the specific purpose of supporting those people in the community who were particularly hard hit by it.

The Roseland Covid19 Hardship Fund continues to help those in need in the community.

We approve the financial information which comprises the Receipts & Payments account and Statement of Assets and Liabilities as set out on pages 6 to 8.

We acknowledge our responsibility for the financial information, including the appropriateness of the accounting basis as set out in the Treasurer’s Report, and for its compilation.

The accounts were approved by the Trustees on 8 March 2021.
