The SWA work with women, young girls and older people from the Sudan, other refugees from the Horn of Africa and other local groups, providing ESOL, literacy and IT drop-in classes.Organise monthly social gathering to reduce isolation and bring the community togetherOrganise social and cultural events to preserve culture and maintain identity to promote community cohesion
Objects: (1) The Relief Of Refugees From Sudan And Other Persons Displaced Or Adversely Affected By War, Famine, And Any Other Natural Disaster Therein ("Beneficiaries") (2) To Preserve And Protect The Physical And Mental Health Of The Beneficiaries And Their Dependants (3) To Advance The Education Of The Beneficiaries In Particular But Not Exclusively By The Provision Of Mother Tongue Classes And Basic English Classes.
