Activities
Barmouth Sailors' Institute was established in 1890 and is a unique example of a sailors' institute. The reading room is open daily to all members of the public free of charge 7 days a week 0900-1730 hrs. Newspapers & magazines are available for reading and the many photographs and sea charts depict Barmouth's maritime history.
Objects: The Provision Of A Reading Room And Meeting Place In Barmouth For The Advancement Of Education Of The Public Including Provision Of Facilities In The Interest Of Social Welfare For Recreation And Leisure Time Occupation With The Object Of Improving Their Conditions Of Life
