Activities
The Hillside Scout Group is based in the foothills of the North Yorkshire Moors just north of Thirsk. Through the Scout programme, we help develop children and teenagers of the surrounding area, from ages 6 to 16. Further, we have played a key role in providing a recreational field and building a new hall for both our Scout meetings and indoor sports for the whole community.
Objects: To Promote The Development Of Young People In Achieving Their Full Physical, Intellectual Social And Spiritual Potentials, As Individuals, As Responsible Citizens And As Members Of Their Local, National And International Communities.
