Objects: 1) Promote The Inhabitants Of Starcross And The Neighbourhood To Include Kenton And Dawlish Without Distinction Of Sex, Sexual Orientation, Race Or Of Political, Religious Or Other Opinions By Associating Together The Said Inhabitants And The Local Authorities, Voluntary And Other Organisations In A Common Effort To Advance Education And To Provide Facilities In The Interests Of Social Welfare For Recreation And Leisure Time Occupation With The Object Of Improving The Conditions Of Life For The Said Inhabitants. 2) Establish Or Secure The Establishment Of A Community Centre And To Maintain And Manage The Same In Furtherance Of These Objects. 3) To Provide Or Assist In The Provision Of A Youth Centre For The Use Of Young Persons In The Parish Of Starcross And Surrounding Districts For The Purposes Of Promoting The Education Of Such Young People Through Their Leisure Time Activities So To Develop Their Physical, Mental And Spiritual Capacities That They May Grow To Full Maturity As Individuals And Members Of Society And That Their Conditions Of Life May Be Improved. 4) Promote Such Other Charitable Purposes As My From Time To Time Be Determined.
