operations in 1993. It was incorporated as a charitable Company Limtted by Guarantee on 26th July

The 2024 financial year remained challenging for the Trust in temis of securirKJ ex1emal programme

A designated fund has been maK*ained as agreed by the Management Commrttee in Previo￿ years,
for the purFrf)ses of securing the organ[Sat￿￿'s fvture sustsinabilty. This designate(I fund has been
created to acquire a propety lo maintain sustainability. st*ilty and to negate sole dependency on
public funding. This designated fund has been preserved for the exdusNe pU￿se of future property
acquisrtion on beham of the organis*ion. The des￿noted fvnd stands al £1.200.000 as at 31
December 202412023.. £1,200,C￿01. and rw) transfer to or from this fund was made during the year.
Reser¥es Policy
Following a comprehensNe review of the charity's reserves polty. the trustee5 have cO￿luded thal,
having due regard lo the charity's prcl￿ted level of activty and anticipated income ¢)ver the
forthcoming hwelve-mwth P￿￿. no alhxatw to the destgnatgd buikling fund is warranted in the
current financial year.
Free ￿selves, excluding the designabj building furKI of £1.200.000. are maintsined at £477.473 as al

represents a modest increase of £11.135 ¢ompared to the prior year. consistent with the nel surplus
recorded for 2024. This level of free reserves exceeds tr* minimum reserves requirement equivalent

Financial Review.

managing director, afso acts as the cperalions director and in which. tsvo of the trustees are
senior employees. An outstsnding aggregale arrM)ynt of £1.IY)O remained payable to SE Limited,
a$ at the balance sheet date. During the year. the charty a150 $UPPOrted projects run by SE Ltd
which a￿gned wrth the eharty's objectsves. deta'ls of these projects are provided in the Trustees
During the year, the Iru$tees had approved a Igan of £200,C4)O to SE Ltd. The loan wa$
unsecured but interest bearing al a r*e of 5% p.a. arKI had a fte￿ble repayment peri¢)d of within
two years frcKn drawdown with repayment due duriry 21Y26. The full anv)unt of Ihg boan remains
outslandirvj as al the balance s￿l date.
The company had aL80 advanced a small unsecured interest free knan of £3.000 in previous
years to I Can Care Limited. a non%Jrofrt making company in which Raj D05hi is the 501e Director.
The loan was vetted arHI approved by the Trustees and prowded on an ami's knglh basis. The
loan 15 repayable on demand and remained unpaid as at the year end. I Can Care supports the
day care needs of disadvantaged and socio-economicalty e¥duded and deprived older pwjple
and eklerly communrties. The full amount of the loan remains outstanding as at the balance
sheet date.
