We arrange fund raising, social meetings, invite speakers and discuss access and other related issues. We hold a comprehensive range of technical equipment and literature to aid the Deaf and Hard of Hearing, Display/Demonstrate and provide advise. We run the local Lip-reading and Rehabilitation Classes at Scarborough
Objects: The Relief And The Advancement Of The Hearing Impaired Of All Ages Within The Scarborough/ryedale Area Of North Yorkshire In Particular By Promoting Lipreading And Other Activities Which Will Enable The Hearing Impaired To Communicate More Effectively And The Provision Of Up To Date Information On Technical AIDS, Literature And Other Help Available By Way Of Exhibitions, Demonstrations, Meetings, Lectures, Classes, Seminars And Training Courses.
