Objects: For The Benefit Of The Public In Leiston And Surrounding Area (" The Area Of Benefit") And In Particular For The Benefit Of Those Members Of The Public Who Are Young Persons Up To 21 Years Of Age By Associating The Local Authorities, Other Statutory Bodies, Voluntary Bodies,and Other Groups And Individuals In The Area Of Benefit In A Common Effort To Advance Education To Protect And Preserve Health, To Relieve Those Who Are Suffering From Financial Hardship Or Who Are Otherwise In Need And To Provide And Assist In The Provision Of Facilities For Recreation And Other Leisure Time Occupation In The Intrests Of Social Welfare And With The Object Of Improving The Conditions Of Life Of The Public In The Area Of Benefit And Of Helping The Young Persons In The Area Of Benefit To Grow To Full Maturity As Individuals And As Member Of Society.
