We are a group of volunteer parents/carers/grandparents who give our time to fundraise to help finance projects and items that the school budget does not allow for. Our fundraising events include refreshments at various school events, secondhand School Uniform Sales, School Discos, supporting school events, Ashton Keynes Fireworks and Christmas /Father's day/Mother's day Pocket Money Stalls. ## **Trustees** - Ben Baldwin - Annika Grizzell ## **Committee Member** - Gemma Allen - Chair - Ben Baldwin - Secretary - Annika Grizzell – Treasurer - Emmaliese Baldwin - Zoe Green - Michelle Franklin ## **Bank** Natwest 32 Market Place, Cirencester, Gloucestershire, GL7 2NU 2 ## **Report of the Trustees** A successful year driven by our primary fundraiser Ashton Keynes Fireworks Display, where a dry night meant a successful event. Increased ticket sales and a bar and BBQ allowed funds to be made for the school. Other successful events included the school disco, a curry night and supporting school led activities. The school supported funding for KS1 outdoor play equipment, implementing Doodle a key home learning program, a quidditch set and has been asked by the school to support KS2 outdoor play equipment later on in 2025. Plans for fundraising in 2025 include a summer fete and the annual fireworks display. 3 ## **Independent Examiners Report** I report to the trustees on my examination of the accounts of the Friends of Ashton Keynes School for the year ended 31st January 2025 which are set out on pages 5 to 7. ## **Responsibilities and Basis of Report** As the trustees of the Charity, you are responsible for the preparation of the accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011 (‘the Act'). I report in respect of my examination of the Trust's accounts carried out under section 145 of the 2011 Act and in carrying out my examination I have followed all the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission under section 145(5)(b) of the Act. ## **Independent Examiner's Statement** I have completed my examination. I confirm that no material matters have come to my attention in connection with the examination giving me cause to believe that in any material respect: 1. Accounting records were not kept in respect of the Charity as required by section 130 of the Act; or 2. The accounts do not accord with those records.
