**Objects:** THE RELIEF OF POVERTY AND SICKNESS FOR FAMILIES WITH YOUNG CHILDREN LIVING IN THE  BOSCOMBE AREA, IN PARTICULAR  BY THE PROVISION OF A CENTRE THAT PROVIDES SUPPORT AND DEVELOPMENT OPPORTUNITIES FOR FAMILIES.

**Activities:** During school term time BFDI provides free basic skills courses, supported by confidence building workshops. Childcare is available on site costing -ú1 per family per week. IAG is provided, and referral to other learning or support agencies if appropriate. An activity club runs for children aged 5 ÔÇô 11 years during schools holidays. This costs -ú1 a day per child and includes a healthy lunch.
