Ob'ectives and activities
The Royal Tunbridge Wells Round Table Charitable Trust ('the Trusv) is
estsblished to effect the charitable business and activities of the Royal
Tunbridge Wells Round Table (Number 195) of the National Association
of Round Tables of Great Britain and Ireland (Ihe Table.). In particular,
the Trust regulates the use of the Charity Bank account (Ihe Account.)
set up in the name of the Table,. monitoring that the Accourrt is used for
suth tharitable purposes as defined by the Table and in accordance with
the laws of E land & Wales.

The Table {on behalf of the Trust) coordinates the annual Royal
Tunbridge Wells Fireworks display al Dunorfan Park {'the Display.) and
perfom)s other ad hoc charitable activities. Net proceeds generated from
the sale of tickets for the Display (after the deduction of costs required to
run the event) are donated to local charitable causes.

Achievements and performance
The Display held in November 2022 generated Net Proceeds of
approximately £36.000. The pro￿edS ansing from the Display are
expected to be donated to local chanties during the financial year to April
2024.

during the year
The Trust also distributed approximately £15,000 to local charities during
the year to 31 March 2003 (with these donations made from the Net
Proceeds arising from the Display held in November 2021).
The Trust continued to maintain a surplus cash position on the Account,
which will enable tt to finance the costs associated with operating the
Display to be held in November 2023.

Financial review
The Trust holds liquid cash resources at bank with the objective of
retaining sufficient liquid reSoUr￿S to meet all operating expenses for the
next financial year.

financial year and the Trustees consider that the Trust had adequate

chartty (￿he Trusy) for the year ended 31 March 2023.
Responsibilities and As the charity trustees of the Trust, you are responsible for the preparation
basis of report of the accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act
2011 {"the Acr).
I report in respect of my examination of the Trust's accounts carried out
under section 145 of the 2011 Act and in carrying out my examination, I
have followed the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission
under section 145{5){b) of the Act.
I have completed my examination. I confirm that no material matters have
come to my attention in connection with the examination which gives me
cause to believe that in. any material resFect:
