Over this year we recognised ihe need io WOT* with young pwle for a longer perio4 and thai particularly for ihe young
people who were 15116 during lockdowD, there was a need for son)tthms Tnore after the youth club. We hav¢ sin¢¢
diversified this projecl and we run three distinct age-VOUP 4Jecific youth clubs. One for 16+ young people, one for
8-1 l year old young people, and wt continue to run Iwo evenings for 11-16 y¢aT olds.
Each session is led by qualified. exwienced and ￿]rt8 youth w(Ykus who offer support and guidance. Within the
sessions we offer food (usually ioasi or Sandwiches) and age appropnatt activitses, just for fill4 some eneourd8iDg
exercise and (eamwork, others 5wrring general wellbeing. and a loi of specific life skills such as c(x)king or lime
nwagement.

35 young people in the two local secondary sch￿15. We don't have a set lenoh of time for support foT a rnenttt, and tbis
way we are able to work with them until they fttl like they no longer need such a level of sUp1￿L
W¢ have also incTeased our mentoring support lo w(rfk with young people wbo are under 11 in two local prinwy
schools. We were approa¢F￿d by one of the sclM)ols. aljout mell￿]ng some of thc most vulneTrble children in the School
and began a gr￿p mentoring pft)gramrt￿ with two small groups of thildren. and recently bEW two 1-1 5es5ions with
vo children who were unable to engage in a ￿VironMent. W¢ have Tn¢re&5¢d ow provision Th)w into anoiher
prirnary school working with thc gr￿p$ on themes such as transiiioning well to s¢coodary school and online safety.

Church. who provide voluDteer5 to help serve the famili￿, a5 well as support through provision of food home-mad¢
cakes. We have broughi in othu OT8anisations io tun a¢ttvities such as sp)ns, magi¢ and fa¢¢ paitstirtg and always have
staff on hand io engage young people and chat io families. We offered weekly trips for young people over the summer.

Safeguarding
All of our work is underyjinned with an absolute desire and ddemiinail￿ ￿ ensure the safely and wellbeing of all the
young people we 5UPWrt. Our team is highly woficient in reco￿]$1￿¥ ￿tential safeguardiDg coDcerns attd our
safrguardinE Policy and accornpan￿ng procedures tosures all concerns are appropnately Tecorded and actioned. L&sl
year we raised 28 safeguarding concerns. concerns thai would have gone unnoiiced wiihoui our youth work and each and
every concem had Ihe poieniial to significantly impxi on the wellbeing and future of the young people we support. This
is why we ¢ontinu¢ io work within ourCom￿lty- to prote¢i some of the most vulnerable in our StK￿.
We have also recently buili a gwd ConD￿li0n with our local Community Safety Officer, Jon Barndl (Warwick Di5triei
Council). and are working closely with him, meeting regularfy io share relevani infornialion. This inforniation sharing
ha5 ¢nabl¢d us to better 5aft8uard the young peopl¢ thai w¢ work with aDd also provide Ulfonnation to safe8uard a wider
n¢tsvork of yowig people. This 15 Particulady im1￿1 with the wtvalence of counry lines and violence (including knife
Crime) in this ￿ea.
We believe in the work we do and see a clear need for Mcle￿ levels. All of our work has a direct coThelation to o
vision of.. no young person limiled by disadvantage. This fiJr¥Jamentsl ￿lief maintains our passion a￿d desire io achieve
this goal and continues our drive to supwrt some of the tnost disadvantaged yOUDg people in our society.
