Cylch Meithrin Maenclochog was established in 1972 and is based in the village’s community hall, incorporating an excellent outdoor play and learning centre. The Cylch is a member of Mudiad Meithrin, a voluntary organisation specialising in Welsh-medium early years care and education in Wales.
The Cylch aims to give every young child the opportunity to benefit from early years services and experiences through the medium of Welsh. Welsh is the language of the Cylch Meithrin, but all children are welcome whether or not they speak Welsh. We strive to provide a safe and fun space for each child to explore their potential through equipment and toys which reflect their developmental requirements whilst bearing in mind the National Early Years Curriculum in Wales. We believe that play is fundamental to the physical, emotional, linguistic, social and intellectual development of children. Our priority is the happiness of each child.
The provision is run by a qualified and dedicated team of staff. All staff attend frequent training courses to ensure that continuous personal development is achieved. All staff have undertaken a DBS check (Disclosure and Barring Service). Staffing arrangements conform to the regulations of the CIW and staffing ratios are strictly adhered to.
Cylch Meithrin Maenclochog is managed by a committee of volunteers who have registered with Mudiad Meuthrin and follow the relevant guidelines.

The Cylch is registered 15/children from two years to school age.
Opening Times
Cylch Meithrin Maenclochog is open Monday - Thursday during term times and excluding bank holidays from 8.30am - 1.00pm
Morning Club 8.30 – 9.00 = £2.50 per session Main Session 9.00 – 11.30 = £8.00 per session Lunch Club 11.30 – 12.45 = £5.50 (parents to provide packed lunch).
