CHARITY:|Nant Dyrys is a welsh medium pre- nursery provision based in
Ynyswen.
The aim of the provision is to enhance the development and
education of children of pre-school age, offering appropriate play,
education and care facilities.
To provide a safe and stimulating environment.
To encourage all children to develop and experience new
opportunities
To promote positive self -esteem and encourage confidence

MAIN ACTIVITIES
UNDERTAKEN:|The main purpose of the charity is to provide high quality childcare
and caring environment for children living in the local community.
The charity is an approved FS supplier. Within this financial year
the charity was eligible to provide funded placement for those
children eligible.
The service is also registered with ESTYN as an early year’s
provision providing funded placements for those eligible following
the term after their 3rdbirthday. This depends solely on school
capacity and intake.
The service works in line with the Childcare offer for Wales,

MAIN ACHIEVEMENTS
OF THE CHARITY
DURING THE YEAR:|We continue to enhance our provision with natural resources
enabling us to embed a more authentic environment for purposeful
play and learning.
We continue to be promoted as a well-established high standard
provision, having received feedback from local authorities,
umbrella organisations and parents.
We continue to achieve excellent feedback from our umbrella
organisation and advisory teachers within the sector. Reports are
available.
Cylch Meithrin Nant Dyrys achieved 1stplace prize for learning and
development 1stfor outdoor development and 3rdplace in the
Mudiad Meithrin ceremony awards as best provision in the South,
East.
We continue to have grants from Early Years to adapt our
indoor/outdoor environment.
We achieved excellent in all four categories following an inspection
