**Activities:** The HES supports research into and dissemination of the history of education through its website, publications and conferences. It supports post graduate students in providing bursaries for conference attendance and it offers a variety of prizes and awards for historians of education. It convenes annual conference and regional conferences on a wide range of education history topics.
