Achievements and performance
Summary of the main achievements of the charity during the year
The “association raised £27,633.14 during 24/25 through its fundraising , All of the main events such as The Village Carnival, Fireworks and various other Discos and Movie nights took place as in previous years
We carried out numerous small scale fundraising activities as well. These included Mufti Days, Second hand uniform sales and requests for general donations from Parents via JustGiving
School Donations
The Association has donated just over £49.5k to the two schools during the year including:
- Class Grants totalling £4,250 - Transport for school trips £3,675 - Book Bags for Reception £288 - Learning Collage £1.000 - Workshops - £400 - Playground Equipment & Mud Kitchen - £1,542 - Camera - £173 - Refurb of all 3 practical areas in Junior School and Hall redecoration - £37,272

The Association has decided that reserves of at least £5,000 is a

Brief statement of the appropriate level of reserve to meet the fluctuations in fundraising charity’s policy on reserves receipts. We currently have Reserves of £47,779 some of which is due to the donations following a devastating fire in May 2023. These will be held while the rebuild is taking place to be put towards a large project to be decided — part was spent on the Junior refurb this year.

Basis of independent My examination was carried out in accordance with general Directions given examiner’s statement by the Charity Commission. An examination includes a review of the accounting records kept by the charity and a comparison of the accounts presented with those records. It also includes consideration of any unusual items or disclosures in the accounts, and seeking explanations from the trustees concerning any such matters. The procedures undertaken do not provide all the evidence that would be required in an audit, and consequently no opinion is given as to whether the accounts present a ‘true and fair’ view and the report is limited to those matters set out in the statement below.
