**Objects:** (1) THE RELIEF OF POVERTY, PARTICULARLY BY THE PROVISION OF ASSISTANCE IN THE BUILDING OF HOUSING FOR PERSONS LIVING IN SQUATTER COMMUNITIES; (2) THE PROTECTION AND PRESERVATION OF PUBLIC HEALTH BY HELPING TO ESTABLISH A HEALTH CENTRE AND NUTRITION CENTRE;(3) THE ADVANCEMENT OF EDUCATION BY THE PROVISION OF VOCATIONAL SKILLS TRAINING AND A PRE-SCHOOL EDUCATION PROJECT.

**Activities:** Ukuthasa aims to empower disadvantaged communities in Africa by working in partnership with Non Government Organisations (NGOs) in the following areas: HIV/Aids education, training and counselling; providing pre-school and early education; providing mentorship and life-skills training to young people through sport.
