2021 continued to bring its own challenges after the disruption and uncertainty caused by the lockdowjs ID 2020. We
lltinued to navigate th¢ various polici¢s aiollgside our partners - encouraging them to be prepared for when socicty
opened up ill order to capitalis¢ on the role that sport, and football in particular, could play in helping society get back to
some nOrn￿lIty.
a result of being able to restart some progr4D]llW with some being paused due to the pandemic, 724 participants
were part of weekly progranun* 'Tallc F￿tball,. our weekly support resource w&8 received by more than 400 coaches
WOTldwide.
Following on from 2020, we continued to Irain partners oolin¢ through ow Conllllllnity Footbttil (￿treaCh PrOgt￿]MC.
W¢ were able to deliver our leg ov¢rvi¢w of the work do to more than 30 churche8 - ￿ryth 18 cornmitting to
developing programmes in 2021 and 2022. We reviewed the pilol project that w¢ started in Lower Darwen. Lancashire
and as a result eh#nged some aspects of the training to enable more par￿rS to ¢¢)me on board through making the
tr8iJJing more relevant and affordable.
We suptfftd 195 churches directly, iwting ov¢r 2000 peopl¢. Including onlin¢ participation, more than 1.200
people attend¢d Amba&sadoJs Football events throughout tbe yeor.

In Tecent years we have seen asylum seekers and refuge￿ joining our programmes. This also shows the way in which
ititegration can happen on R football pitch, which can be mirrored by society. People Jnix together in ways around
f(x)tball activiti&s which doe$ nol OCCUT in other areas of life. As a r￿Ul( we have seen community eohesion enhanced in
places like Tower Hamlets, Glasgow and LancashiTe. We have been #ble to develop well-nin Teplicable programmes for
under 12s and this mewLS we ean influence children at a forn￿tive stage of their live4 kn develop good chara¢ter and
priaciple$ that will serve them wel] foT life.
We are faith.based but not faith biased. As such we welcome any and every culture attd ¢tJmicity onto our programmes.
It results in the development of a wide rdnge of volunteers into leadets. and children feeling heard and appreciat¢d
they take part in the programmes we offer.
In this way the trustees of Ambwadors Football Limited believe we have complied with the duty in 8ection 17(5) of the
Charliies Act 2011. to have due regaTd to the public benefit guidance published by the Charity ConunitlSiO
Volunteer$
We tiained one voluDtecr intern in 2021. Our internship programme was restarted iti September 2021 and as society
op¢ned up, we had lltore opportimitie5 for volunteers to serve alongside tL$.

curtailed during the year. The number of volunteers itlvolved in delivering our programmcs 04.T￿ volLll)leers we
support WOTkeTs and coaches in our cornmunEty fi)otball outreach progrdnw and 8om¢ involved iti ailn)iniskntive
support. The contribution of tirn¢ from volunt¢ers wa5 approXitt￿te1Y 60 hours pu week over tbe year. This is equivalent
to 2 staff workers and is a great retum on the investment we make into them.

Ambassadors Football GB continued to focus on sustainable tllodels of Work through:

dCliv￿ltig our programmey. whilst modelling good practice oU￿elveS.
2. A development of our work with wom¢n's football, a new stsff mwllber being recrui¢ed to head up this ar¢a of
our work and raise fimfls &lld partners to deliver programmes for female panicipation around the wunty.
3. Building upon existing pamerships and starting new programmes in areas of the ¢ountry where we had not worked
for many years.
The progrnmmes that we are involved in include..
Women's Football development
We gained a new member of staff in 2021 who is focused on devek)ping our wornens and girls footb211 programmes.
We submitted an appli¢2tTon for fimding to dev¢lop our wom¢n'y f(￿all and ￿11-being pro8fdTnme to contin¥Je to
develop this work in 2022 and b¢yond.
Football Camps
2021 saw 9 camps Iholiday clubs) take place around Great Britaiti. Some parthers now th¢ir own caDJPS. showing the
Iistainabilily of the trdiniug and modeling that we provide. We were unable to Tun as many camps as in pr¢vious yeaTS
to restrictions from the gov¢nllnent about m¢¢iin8 and sociaj distancing. Despite this we were still able to delxver
two camp5 at Easter and seven in the Sutthmer holidays as restrictions were Telaxed, enabling us to senr 289 children and
their families. The feedback wa4 ovenvheln]ingly N)sitive, with families of participartts enthusiastic and Iwal partners
pl¢&4ed that they were njaking n¢w ¢ontacts in their ¢ommunilies atrj bringing about a posilive irnpact tbTough tbe
Weekly Football Clubs
We Continued to support ¢hurche8 that nut their own football clubs for youity ¢h]"Idren and athilts. Most have a theme
each week such as reyct, te￿nwrt or confidence. Through the football we ¢TDpha5ise these values and build upon
th¢m as the year goes on. These activities started again in the second ha]f of 2021 and w¢ arc encouraged to see how
they ¢an develop into the ￿ture.
Tourn8]llellts
We were able to 0￿¢ again host the National Cljristian Football Fesiival and the tx>ndon Chur¢hes Fojtball Toumwnt
after a iwo year hiatus. This resulted in more than 400 adults and children having the ability to gather logeth¢r for tbe
fwst tirn¢ ID two years* to celebrnt¢ life and ¢omnwnity.
Tours
A tour to Spain went ahead after a two year gap. Thi5 wa5 very well received by ow partfter agency in Granada alld by
the participant8- of whom re¢wn¢d after touring in previous years.
Fundrai$ing Aetlvldes
In 2021 we were able to renew participation in some fun TU[* and other fund raising activities. This in¢ludd the Chsyter
Metric Marathon and the London Marathon.

In a similar way to 2020. we did not generate &$ much income from our activities in 2021 due to ¢ffc¢ts of polieies
relating lo Covid-19. but we also did not sp￿d as much money for the same reason. As a result, we were able to
maintain our rese￿e$ ar a rdte recoTmnended by the Charity Comtni&sion. This is also a reflection on our consistent,
robust monitoring ofspending and i￿%)me throughout the year.
lllvestmeDt poli¢y •nd obje¢tlves
The trustees aim to keep funds in a higher Tate savings accounl at least to the amount of the charityls reserve. The
trLLSt¢¢$ will instruct the directors to cstablish an investtnent policy for use if and when fuuds are available for inv¢8tin8
on a longer t¢rni basis, however thi$ has not been needed in 2021.
