Reserves policy
The trustees have examined the requirement for free reserves which are those unrestricted
funds not committed or invested in tangibles fixed assets (the free reserves) held by the
charity should not be less than £1,000. At this level, the trustees feel that they would be able
to continue the current activities of the charity in the event of a significant drop in funding. In
the event of such an occurrence. it would be obviously necessary to consider how the funding
would be replaced or activities changed. The trustees are considering ways in which
additional unrestricted funds can be raised.
Risk Management
The trustees actively review all risks which the charity faces from external and internal
sources through regular review of the charity's Strategic plan. The plan is reviewed on an
annual basis and the major risks to the charity are exposed as identified and evaluated by the
trnstees and systems have been put in place to mitigate these significant risks.
