BUG aims to enable people using services to deal with mental health issues to get fully involved, eg in their own recovery; in designing and evaluating new and existing services; creating different approaches to dealing with mental health issues and enabling individuals to improve their mental health and wellbeing, including by training people using services and staff in mental health services
Objects: (1) To Educate The Public (Including Users Of Mental Health Services And Professionals) On Issues Affecting General And Specific Aspects Of Mental Health. (2) To Educate And Assist Users Of The Mental Health Services Resident Within The London Borugh Of Brent To Participate In The Planning, Monitoring And Delivery Of Mental Health Care Provision (Including Self Help Services) So As To Improve The Standard And Scope Of Such Care.
