The aim of the Gordon Foundation is to help young people up to the age of 30 grow to full maturity as individuals and members of society. It offers grants to support their education in the fine or performing arts, particularly music, drama or design, or to allow them to engage in educational travel which involves physical challenge and endeavour.
Objects: (A)advancing The Education Of The Public (In Particular Young People Up To The Age Of 30) In The Fine And Performing Arts And In Particular Music And Drama ("The Arts") (B)in Helping And Educating Young People Up To The Age Of 30 Through Their Leisure Time Activities And In Particular Travel Which Is In Itself Of Educational Value Or Which Involves Physical Challenge And Endeavour ("Relevant Travel") So As To Develop Their Physical And Mental Capacities That They May Grow To Full Maturity As Individuals And Members Of Society And Their Conditions Of Life May Be Improved.
