The aim is to rescue, rehabilitste and release from our specialist bird of prey hospital facilities with veterinary cover, secluded aviaries and hospital cages. We operate all year round with the support of a team of dedicated volunteers. The centre also houses 160 exotic animals and birds, most of which were unwanted, mistreated or seizures by the authorities. All residents are cared for by a team of permanent volunteers who nurture them and give them the facilities to express natural behaviour with their own kind. These residents provide valuable resources in educational talks to school children, other groups and the general ublic who visit the centre. We again used our reserves to help pay for new enclosures and increased running costs. We were very grateful to our supporters for donations to help us and we were able to complete several large projects and finance our increasing energy bills and animal food.
