The TRUSTEES of THE HARRINGTON YOUTH CLUB present their annual report and audited accounts for the year ended 31 August 2024 and confim they comply with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011 (Sec 17{5)), the trust deed and the Charities SORP. OUR MAIN ACTIVITIES UNDERTAKEN FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT, INCLUDE free youth clubs. free holiday activities and provisions, free children and family sessions, free Easter, Summer and Christmas eventslactivities and a free community flowerbed project. We aim to provide support. activities and provisions to ALL children. supporting families to better support children. We also have minimal room charges to enable room hire for multiple community groups, benefitting the public in additional support and provisions ran by other members of the community, this includes, but is not limited to: sooal support, over 55s. dance classes, sign language and children's arts & crafts. Summary of the main activities undertaken for the public benefit in relation to these objects (include within this section the statutory declaration that trustees have had regard to the guidance issued by the Charity Commission on public benefit) We promote the academic, moral, social, leisure and physical development of children and young people. through various activities and provisions. We provide a safe, Wa￿n. environment where each child can develop and fulfil his or her potential, building their self-COnfiden￿ and inculcating a desire to contribute to the wider communty. Additional detsils of objectives and activities (Optional information) The Harrington Youth Club is ran by the contributions of volunteers time, we have approx. 10 volunteers- Trustees, Management Committee, and General volunteers, all making it possible to staff, maintain, and run these vital services, activities and provisions. Management costs are kept to a minimum through the use of volunteers for regular maintenance, admin, day-to-day staffing, and cleaning. On average 50 hours of volunteer time are given each week to cover routine tasks such as bookings management, cleaning and maintenance. In addrtion, trustees give 20 hours a month for meetings and 200 hours per annum in organising and running fund raising events.
