Halswell Park Trust presently maintains one historic building in the historic Halswell Park and opens it to the general public in the summer months. Work on restoring Halswell House and most of the Georgian garden features started in 2013 after their purchase by a new owner in 2013. The trust will assist this owner in facilitating access to the public as his restoration progresses.
Objects: To Preserve Restore And Maintain For The Benefit Of The People Of The County Of Somerset In Particular And The Public Generally Certain Land Garden And Other Buidings Follies Fish Ponds Bridges Cascades And Other Structures Situate Within The Former Halswell Park Estate At Goathurst In The County Of Somerset And To Provide Appropriate Public Access To Such Land Buildings Follies Fish Ponds Bridges Cascades And Other Structures So As To Educate The Public In The Aesthetic Value And Architechtural Quality Thereof
