WISH provides support and services to women with mental health needs within the Mental Health and Criminal Justice Systems, and in the community; and influences local and national policy and practice.

Objects: The Charity Is Established For The Following Objects (“The Objects”). For The Public Benefit: To Relieve The Poverty And The Physical And Mental Sickness And Distress Of Women, Particularly Those Who Are Or Have Been In Prisons, Secure Units Or Similar Units; To Promote And Preserve The Good Mental Health Of Such Women And Of Women Who Are At Risk Of Entering The Mental Health And/or Criminal Justice Systems; To Advance Public Education About And To Carry Out, Promote Or Assist In Promoting Research Into The Needs Of Such Women And To Disseminate The Useful Results Of Such Research; To Advance Education And Raise Awareness In Gender Equality In Mental Health Services And Criminal Justice Systems; Andto Undertake Any Other Charitable Objective.
